Action films from Hong Kong are not only cult, they have also had huge impact on Hollywood's mainstream action cinema. On January 2001, European Film Academic (EFA) invited Tsui Hark, a real master of the genre, to hold the EFA Master Class 2001 in Berlin.

Tsui Hark taught 20 up-and-coming European filmmakers the art of Asian action filmmaking. The eight-day workshop offered with fruitful theoretical ground as well as practical lessons.
